This weekend was amazing, if you love sport there was so much going on to inspire you.
From the Great North Run & Mo’s sprint finish to 2nd place, to Jonathon Brownlees Sprint finish to 2nd & Non Stanfords (seriously watch her running technique for a model of excellence!) Awesome Win by a country mile at the World Triathlon Race. We love the BBC interview too: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/triathlon/24102487 – how do you stay a Tactical Ninja?
Models of Excellence all round. And now to you….
I read a quote (randomly in the bottom of a Sweaty Betty bag , good idea!):
“If you run, you are a runner. It doesn’t matter how fast or how far. It doesn’t matter if today is your first day or if you’ve been running for twenty years. There is no test to pass, no license to earn, no membership card to get. You just run.” (J.Bingham)
I think this applies to all sport, whatever you are doing, however you feel as you begin, don’t compare, don’t worry just be proud of where you are starting from. There will always be someone in front and always someone behind, so be clear on your goals, courageous in your commitment and enjoy every moment.
And enjoy each moment Team Energised did! I am so proud of all they achieved this weekend, and honoured to work with such lovely people… here’s a quick summary of the Team & Friends taking action this weekend:

Dartmouth 10km SWIM! As you do, Richard Morris set off to swim the 10km race, recording an awe inspiring time of 2hrs 45mins, respect!
Blenheim Horse Trials and my awesome friend Nicky Roncoroni came 10th on her young horse, Stonedge, one to watch for the future… she heads to Italy now 🙂
Lovely Race Day Testimonial from the World Tri Champs, “Kim, I had my perfect race! All the stuff we went through in those group Serpie sessions came together. The pre race visualisations, the things i had worked on to stay focused during my weaker disciplines and most importantly I enjoyed every moment of the event. Not once did a negative thought go through my head. Thank you so much. The sessions with you were vital for my mental performance!’ Boom, Well done!
