I am ready to go….. about to set off to Scotland – the car looks like it is packed up for the year!
First stop Stirling University Sports Centre, to present the Mental Strength Workshop for Sports Performance.… fully booked! It is going to be a great evening with all sorts of athletes from Ironmen and women, to GB Age Group Runners, bowling and tennis. The format has been edited, improved and I hope will be even more inspiring, motivating and useful for everyone. I shall report back after…the next workshop is in Bristol on 1st July – nearly full already!
Then its onto to the Port of Menteith for a night with my Dad, and a morning on the farm before heading over to Comrie to collect my Mum and then head up to Pitlochry to register for the Caledonian Etape – exciting, challenging and naturally a liitle apprehensive as I enter the unknow 🙂
The Caledonian Etape is part 2 of my Double Charity Challenge, I will be wearing a MacMillan Cancer Bike Top for those coming up, and I am number 5200! The first part of the challenge was the London Marathon, only 1 month ago! I have never done anything like this before …. so who knows what will happen! But I am all prepared, and have ordered a mini head cam so you may get a ride too! I am raising funds and awareness for 5 wonderful charities – British Heart Foundation, Access Sport, MacMillan Cancer, Myseathia Gravis and Spafford Children’s Centre for some great reasons…. to read more and support visit: www.virginmoneygiving.com/energisedperformance
