Lots of Team Energised were out and about racing this weekend all over Europe! From 70.3 races in Menorca, to bowling matches in Scotland, from Caledonian Etape (race report coming soon!) to the Bristol 10km….
Many of Team Energised completed the 10km for the first time, and many completed Personal Best times…. a huge well done to all them. The atmosphere I have been told was brilliant this year, and the t shirts at the end of excellent quality so well done to the organisers.
The roll of honour includes.…… PB’s for Karen Morris, Lorraine Welsh (running with Kate Watson), Lizzie Smith, Katy Burfield (running with Fran Burgess), Rachel Evans, Alex, Clara, Ian, Richard, Kate & many more! A huge well done to you all – times ranging from 36mins to 1hrs 06mins – all really impressive times and you should be super proud of yourselves.
To achieve their personal bests and complete their first 10km Energised clients followed training plans which included fucntional strength and core exercises to improve biomechanics, foam roller and specific stretching exercises to reduce the risk of injury, speed sessions to do just that, and gained advice on correct nutrition and recovery to have their best race possible on the day!
