What do you do to challenge yourself?

Monday evening saw the final of the three Blaise Blazers in Bristol (next ones 2012 – 1st Monday in June, July 7 August for the diary!), organised by the running club, Westbury Harriers. It s a 4 mile hill run around a countryside estate….. it is great fun, but definately a challenge! With three big hill climbs, you could be deceived after the first one that you are going to be okay….!

It is an event which Team Energised have been a little shy with! So in 2012 we are going to be encouraging everyone to give it a go… it doesnt matter how long it takes, you just have to be up for the challenge – and pace yourself well 🙂

I would like to say a HUGE well done to Team Energised Ruth Moore & Ian Webster for completing their first Blaise Blazer, and to Dave Baber, Phil Nichol, Diane Hays & our head coach Kim who have taken part in the series! Kim has had a PB on the last race of the series with a little jet lag – very happy!

This Blog is to get you to think... what do you do to challenge yourself  in a positive way? What makes you feel Energised, excited and motivated to train towards a goal – it does not matter what it is – everyone is motivated by something different but by setting and achieving goals we add value to ourselves, increase our confidence and wellbeing.

So have a think about what you could achieve by December 2011 that would make you feel good… Team Energised will be at Nottingham Men’s Health Survival of the Fittest, Bristol Cancer Research 10km, Christmas Cracker 10km  to name a few races.

It doesnt have to be physical either – it could be you would like to improve your nutrition, have more fun, see more friends or get more sleep! Whaterever you goal – set it clearly and make it happen.

From 8th – 19th August we will be running the Big August Intensive Bootcamp in Bristol! You are all welcome to some sessions or all just give us a call to find out more – 07720 845849.
