Happy New Year….

Scotland Christmas TimeI hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, finding time for relaxation and fun with people who are close to you. I had a fanastic time in Scotland, with my family – who are somewhat crazy but that is what I love about them! I am sure that you can all relate to this with your own family traditions – walking up mountains before Christmas lunch, singing Christmas carols opening a present and other such things! I had a great time and I hope that all of you did too. I also want to wish all my friends/family who are currently serving in Afghanistan and other trouble countries, and the local people much peace and happiness during the New Year.

So – 2008! What are you planning on doing this year? 2007 was the year of change, and 2008 is thought to be the start of new beginnings within some cultures – so what you are you going to do differently? Remember – if you always do, what you have always done – you will get what you always got!

Lots of people always ask me what I am going to do personally. I think they find it interesting, and they are checking up on me as its my job to help others feel good and change, so they want to make sure I am challenging myself! So -I am going to trek across the Andes on a horse – 1500km over 8 days for the Princes Trust ( to sponsor me visit www.justgiving.com/kimingleby), run (I hope!) a half marathon and organise the Strictly Energised Charity Ball in March. I also thought I would keep making jewellry, try rock climbing and learn to dance properly – as well as relaxing and spending more quality time with friends and family! So those are my thoughts for the first few months…….. why not post a comment and let me know what you thoughts are! Then we can check up on each other and see how its all going…..

Whatever you decide to do – may 2008 be filled with lots of success, happiness and good health. Whatever challenges come up may you rise up and meet them with courage, passion and know that from every door that closes, another door opens.

Take good care and follow those dreams – kim 🙂
