Good Food & Good Times

Last night we had the third summer Meal at Mud Dock Cafe (www.mud-dock.co.uk) – I cannot believe it was the third one!  And it was even more sucessful than the previous ones, despite the weather deciding that it was Autumn already.

Thank you all for coming along – we had a great mix – from people who came to Italy in May (by the way the 2009 Energy Camp only has 11 beds left and looks set to be a fantastic trip), the Bootcamps (July and August camps filling up fast!) to Sam who has just trekked to the North Pole, and Neil who completed the Ironman in Germany on Sunday!  How they both managed to get up the stairs for the meal is amazing, I certainly would not be walking so quickly! I would also like to thank Simon Fry, from the Venue magazine and freelance journalist for coming along and being part of the evening, I hope you enjoyed our merry evening!

So the food was great and the company was even better – I think many people have now signed up for the Amsterdam Half and 7.5km races on October 19th – if you would like more information have a look at the courses and events, or visit www.amsterdammarathon.nl.

I look forward to welcoming you all for the Christmas meal early December, and possibly an extra meal for my 30th celebrations in September – let me know if you would like to come along to that (!), along with any other suggestions or challenges for the £30k fundraising target!
