Energised Racing athletes, teams, bikes and horses ….

BIG WELL DONE to all the Team Energised athletes out and about last weekend!

It is a real pleasure to work with such a wonderful group of people, from first timers, to age groupers, pro’s to GB team members  – I love what I do – be that coaching and increase core strength, sports massage and biomechanics and/or the Mental strength sports NLP training… so firstly THANK YOU all for being so great to work with!

Now .. onto the the round up of WELL DONE’s from all sorts of sports so read all the way!

Saturday saw lots of Energised heading down to Cornwall for the Marizian Middle Distance and Olympic races .…. great performances from Jeremy, Laurence, Jenny and a 3rd place in his age group for Phil Denny in his first 70.3 triathlon – great news and very impressive!

We also had a fully booked, fun filled Big Bootcamp at Blaise .… with requests for a Bank Holiday one too! The group are definately getting fitter … hill reps, speed intervals, core and strength over 100mins – good results team…

Onto Sunday – we shall summarise!  A huge well done to all Team Energised & BAD Tri completing the Swashbuckler middle distance.... Andy, Nina, Cath, Neil, Dave, Tom, Jane, Sam.. this list goes on! Awesome resulsts and great preparation for Copenhagen which is the BAD Tri club race in August… that is going to be such a good trip.

Many people headed off to Eton for the Bejiing Qualifications for the World Championships where I will be sports massaing and offering Sports NLP sessions….. great results for many athletes including Matt Fisher (http://www.triathletesdiary.com/easyblog/entry/race-reports/beijing-qualification-attempt-1-eton-race-report-2205.html) with a 6th in his age group, and Mel Ryding(http://melanieryding.blogspot.com/) who finished 3rd in her age group and qualified out right! Two races to go for qualification to Bejiing – look out for future results! Good times…. sadly one client, Chris got blown off his bike, breaking his collar bone but already is framing his recovery in a positive way and will be back in now time – we wish him a speedy, quick recovery.

The  Energised Event Massage Team headed out to work at the Black Rat Sportive which proved a huge success, despite the weather and winds, ad big well done to Paul, Richard and Dave completing the 100miler!

A HUGE well done to the GB Synchronised Swim Team winning Bronze at the European Cup – the athletes I work with from the squad are some of the most dedicated, inspiring young ladies and it is brilliant to watch their progress and well deserved results… click on the link to watch their performance: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/swimming/13492376.stm
