Bootcamp Weekend is a Big Success..!

We just managed to miss the snow, and get everyone home following a wonderful Bootcamp Weekend.  Filled with lots of exercise and ‘brain’ coaching, as well as good food, great company and time for relaxation it was a perfect weekend, with a wonderful group of people.

Arriving on the Friday afternoon, guests were shown to their rooms in the beautifully converted Folly Farm ( – managed by Philip the great!) and given a chance to relax before the weekend began…. with a ‘gentle’ core and stretch class, followed by a delicious dinner.  All our meals were prepared by the expertise of Alice, Lynda and Paul from Breakfast and Brunch, where all the food is locally sourced, and cooked from scratch – delicious! (visit to find out more and buy their marmite cookbook!!).

Following an early bed and good slepp guests were woken up by a challenging run up and down hills, through mud and woods to help build up an appetite for breakfast….!!  This was followed by a day packed with core, Flexi Bar, strength, and life coaching sessions giving little time to rest the body, and plenty to think about. By the evening I have never know a group to be so happy, content and truly sleepy – everyone was asleep by 10pm I think despite locally made wine and beer on offer!

The following morning was another early start with hill and sprint intervals before breakfast, followed by some more coaching and a boxing circuit, before a delicious lunch and time to head home.  Guests came from 2mins down the road, to as far away as Sheffield, Glasgow and London. The group was brilliant to work with and I would like to say very well done to everyone, thank you for being part of a fabulous weekend and I look forward to welcoming you to the Autumn Bootcamp Weekend to kick start you for Christmas!  I would also like to thank Karen, our Energised Assistant for all her help.

We will post some photos soon – but in the meantime happy training and why not book onto the Italian Fitness Camp May 3rd – 9th – a fabulous week in the sunshine!
