Taken from Max La Manna’s book More Plants, Less Waste, the ‘Don’t Waste Your Greens’ Smoothie is ideal for using up odds and ends of leftover or frozen veg.

300ml milk (of your choice)
1 banana, frozen
½ cucumber (can be frozen)
½ courgette (can be frozen)
90g blueberries (can be frozen)
20g dark leafy greens (of your choice)
1 tbsp hemp or chia seeds
1 tbsp nut butter (of your choice – Nutcessity is ours)
1 tbsp protein powder (optional)
To serve: granola, fresh berries

Pour your milk into the blender first, then add all the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth and creamy. If you want added protein, add a scoop of your favourite powder. Drink your smoothie immediately or serve with crunchy granola and fresh berries
