International Fitness Awards
Saturday 24th March 2007 – International Fitness Awards, Blackpool.

At the beginning of the year the Polar Challenge Team nominated me for personal trainer of the year, i then completed a full application and waited to see…about a week ago I received a call from the organisers saying I had got down to the last three and would I be at the Awards dinner?

So – with a three day Spinning Course already planned in Blackpool I headed up  The awards dinner was an amazing, well organised spectacular event – break dancing displays, a contortionnist who performed press ups with his legs behind his head and many presenters and sponsors.  We enjoyed a four course meal and then the Awards Ceremony started with Health Club Managed of the Year and Presenter of the Year first.  Then came personal trainer of the year – there were three of us there and I had convinced myself that I would be second or third – but amazingly I won the Award – a beautiful glass cut trophy.

I am so proud to have won it as I am really passionate about my work and really enjoy my job.  It is a pleasure to work with each and every individual and I enjoy inspiring and helping you reach your goals.  So this award is really for all of you and all your achievements too – so well done and thank you, I very much look forward to working with you in the future.

And thank you to Ceri Hannon and Chrysalis Promotions who organised a wonderful convention, awards ceremony and for selecting me for the Award – I look forward to seeing you soon..

PS – I also passed my Spinning Exams so it has been a great weekend.
