Head Coach Kim goes to Argentina to raise money for Charity
Energised Performance is all about helping you feel fantastic on the inside and out, inspire you to shine and realise your full potential. So turining 30 years old next year, I decided that I would like to do something for charity and do something challenging that would provide me with some great stories, photos and talks!
As a result I am going to South America from 1st – 10th Feb 2008 to trek through the Andes from Argentina to Chile to raise money for the Princes Trust, Beat Bullying Bristol and several other small local charities. I feel that these are exceptionally worthwhile causes that help young people improve their quality of life and self esteem.
The trek itself will involve riding for around 12 hours a day at high altitude, in extreme conditions and temperatures – and will amazing! I am also taking part in the Tough Guy – a 20mile marine assualt course normally for Marine SAS training – 5 days before I go to Argentina.
I am hoping to raise at least £3k (£30k being 30 would be amazing) and I hope that you will feel these are worthy challenges and worthwhile charities…to donate please visit www.justgiving.org/kimingleby or send a cheque to Kim Ingleby, Energised Charity Challenge, 29 Westacre Close, Westbury on Trym, Bristol, BS10 7DH (Cheques made payable to Kim Ingleby). If you donate £10, you can chose a date in a 2008 diary – this will be raflled when full and you win the chance of £300! You can’t say better than that!
If you are interested in a corporate sponsorship please let me know and we can discuss options including branding on the clothing, talks, photos etc…
I will be posting information about the challenge and training progress on this site and coming soon www.kimingleby.com. There will be lots of information and photos (as long as the battery’s survive the extreme temperatures!)
Thank you for considering donating money to these worthwhile charities and I look forward to sharing with you all the stories at the Easter Meal!
