Goals and plans for the summer!

Now that Spring has arrived, we hope you are all progressing well towards the goals you set yourselves at the beginning of the year, and are feeling fit and having fun in the process?!  As ever, EP have lots in the pipeline over the coming months, and maybe there is something which will help you reach your goal, challenge yourself or just have some fun?!

On Sunday 19th April Team Energised will be taking part in the Frenchay 10km.  This race starts and finishes at the UWE Glenside Campus and is one of the countries oldest 10k events.  It promises to be a fun day and if you would like to join Team Energised, enter today at www.frenchay10k.co.uk and let us know that you’ll be there so we can support you all the way!

If 10k is not for you, then why not try 5k instead?!  The Cancer Research UK Race for Life returns to the Bristol Downs this summer, and Team Energised will be there on Saturday 13th June.  We are also organising sessions prior to the event to help train and support you, so why not support this fantastic charity, enter today at www.raceforlife.org and join us for some training in the weeks leading up to the event?! 

Another popular favourite returning to the Downs this summer is the EP Summer Bootcamp! Each session will be a well balanced mixture of cardio, strength and core work, and will be suitable for all.  The first session will take place at 6.30pm on Tuesday 12th May and will run at the same time every Tuesday until 14th July, meeting each week at the Downs Cafe.
