Following a really successful, and brilliant first seminar with Serpentine Triathletes last Friday in London – EP Head Performance Coach Kim Ingleby heads to Hartpury College by request from William Miflin, to work with some high performance ‘start’ athletes – selected as star’s of the future she will aim to inspire, educate and motivate them to improve their fitness, and enhance their mental strength for competition.
Often the horse rider forgets just how important it is to be fit and strong in themselves, generally focusing on the fitness of the horse. Our aim, through a competitive three day eventing background (U21 Scottish 3 Day event team – Blair Castle Three Day, Scottish Tetrathlon & many other events) combined with personal training, bio mechanic training and NLP/hpynotherapy is to enhance the rider’s physical, functional strength for riding combined with tips to improve their mental state – confidence, relaxation, focus and postive outcome.
Our equestrian clients have included International Three Day event riders, GB Team Endurance riders, Scottish High Performance Junoir Riders, Pony Club Teams, County dressage, show jumping and para-equestrian athletes all with noticeable positive results.
We are really looking forward to running this workshop and the potential of a series within Three Day Eventing in the future. For enquries and group bookings please just give us a call on 07720 845849 or post a comment below.
The next Mental Strength Workhop for sports performance is in Northants on Fri 25th Feb, and the following on 1st April in London – perfect for the Virgin London Marathon.
