It’s a muscle we use naturally from birth but tend to lose the ability as we get older, particularly when poor posture and sedentary lifestyles become prevalent. If you watch singers, especially classically trained ones, you’ll see them using their Thoracic Diaphragm to utilise their full lung capacity to hit the long notes…

Strengthening this muscle will help in all areas not just running so try out the exercises in the article and let us know what happens…
