How much time do you spend stretching, foam rolling and thinking about your posture? All too often we drive to work, sit at our desks, drive home, perhaps move for an hour but that’s about it… Consequently our metabolism drops, and our postural muscles become shorter and tighter, or stretched and less strong. For our long term health, confidence and back care I believe I have one solution that can really help! No kit required, just morning discipline. How?!
Over the year’s I have been lucky enough to work with several of the professional dancers from Strictly Come Dancing and their celebrity partners. Way back in 2006 learned that Bruce Forsyth carried out these 5 moves every morning to boost his energy, posture and well being. I thought it was interesting but never really took much notice of it. Then when I signed up for an Ironman in 2012 to raise money for my best friend and the charity Sands, I thought, I must put in some daily routines that help me to improve my flexibility and reduce the risk of injury.
Since 2012 I have done the Tibetan Moves for Youthfulness, I only really ever do 3-5 reps of each exercises due to time, but I really feel they make a difference to my posture, mood and well being. I am focused during the time of our current on line #SummerHotBod course, to build up to 21 repetitions of each exercise. This is the recommending about for real improvements, and the increase in youthfulness.
Love to know how many you manage to do, commit for 21 days and notice the difference. You can also keep your nutrition really clean, no sugars, wheat, diary or alcohol and it recommends no sex for 21 days too for the best results, and quiet time…. share your results and improved posture today.
So our #WednesdayWorkout is a little less intense, but equally beneficial, check out the moves here: http://www.babble.com/beauty/the-5-tibetan-rites-a-quick-morning-anti-aging-workout/
