Locally we had the Burnham on Sea Super Sprint Triathlon, with ladies from the Tri Girl Beginner’s Triathlon Workshop I ran earlier in the month taking part. All three did amazingly and I am sure this will not be there only race of the season, well done Deborah, Hilary & Ronelle. Also racing and giving impressive performances were Tim Pocock and many of The Triathlon Shop Team, if you need any kit get yourself down to their shop in Bristol, they will definitely help you out.
And then we cannot forget the London Marathon! I can’t believe it was 2 years ago since I ran London, and the memories are still alive, especially when you watch everyone taking part. It is an inspirational, motivating, moving day. A massive well done to Stuart Amory & Claire Doherty with PB’s, 3.05 and 3.16 respectively, that is super impressive and a complete pleasure to support them. Also to Karen Wright 3.44 & Neil Carmody 4.36, brilliant times! So many people ran, so many big well done’s to you all, whatever your time, you did it and be very proud of that. And be equally proud if you had the courage to pull out of the race due to injury, and are focusing on another race, that takes great strength and you will enjoy your next race even more.
And did you see Ali Brownlee’s win in the ITU San Diego World Cup Race… totally amazing, finishing 20secs ahead and walking over the finish line, respect!
If you did race this weekend and need a treatment you will save £7, we have space Tues 4-6pm with Paul, Weds am with Kim and the odd gap with Gail.
A client messaged me today and said, “Don’t give up on something you can’t go a day without thinking about it…” I wonder what it is that keeps coming into you mind when you read it, there are three things that come into mine! I better get onto them, two are physical, one is fun and personal. I’ll let you know when they are starting….
