As the excess of the Christmas period is felt after New Year take the return to your fitness routine steady. The colder weather and a couple of weeks of reduced activity (we won’t mention the extra puddings!) can affect your chances of injury.

With many making New Year resolutions concerning diet and fitness, and a large proportion dropping out by the end of January; choosing a goal, being part of group fitness and being accountable to someone are all great ways to keep on track.
