Our awesome Energised client Philippa is looking for adventurous types to join the Youth Adventure Trust on a unique challenge ‘Race to the Sea: A Survival Challenge’
Put your survival instincts to the test in the Youth Adventure Trust’s Race to the Sea: Survival Challenge, a journey from the rugged wilds of Dartmoor to the coast at Dartmouth on foot and by self-built river transport.
The challenge will test physical, mental and emotional endurance in a weekend free from the constraints of modern technology – no phone to provide GPS, no uber to get you where you need to go, no restaurant to feed you and no luxury hotel room to keep you warm at night. With experts on hand for key skills training and advice throughout the challenge, you will truly have the chance to go back to basics and see if you can survive the wild.
Ed Stafford, intrepid adventurer and Discovery Channel regular, is no stranger to being marooned in remote places and forced to survive the wild. He has given the Youth Adventure Trust’s ‘Race to the Sea: A Survival Adventure’ his seal of approval:
“This is a true journey of survival – the weekend will challenge you and push you to go beyond what you think you are capable of. You will learn a lot about yourself, gain a deeper understanding of the world around you and pick up some key survival skills along the way.”
